Popular Front of India demanded the Govt. to crush all those elements who are creating troubles near Charminar and Makkah Masjid only to fulfill their political motives. They are making an attempt to raise the religious issues under the pretext of Bhagyalakshmi temple by making it a sensitive issue. The legal aspects of the issue should be taken into consideration instead of dealing it as a religious matter.
Members of the Executive Council of the Front, Mr. Abdul Lateef and Abdul Ahad told it while addressing a press Conference in Hyderabad. If imitative had been taken in the beginning itself, and legal action would have been taken against the extension of the temple, political leaders of any party wouldn’t have got an opportunity to exploit the situation. There are many important issues which the state is facing. Setting aside all those issues, a non-issue is being given importance. Some political parties are using it to make their political position stronger, the brunt of which public is forced to bear.
Govt. should review the temple issue in the light of Supreme Court’s judgment dated 7th December 2009 taking into consideration the current historical evidences and find out its legal solution. They said that peace can’t be restored without ensuring peace for the weaker sections of society. They said that the country is facing unemployment, education, energy and agriculture which are of prime importance. There is no escape from these problems. Some forces are involving public in trivial issues keeping in mind the Hindu votes, some forcing are inciting the voters whereas the same tactics is being applied to Muslim voters. Govt. should deal with the miscreants sternly.
