The Advisory Council of Experts, constituted by the State government to attract investments to the State, submitted its report on Thursday.
Disclosing this to the media, Minister for IT & Communications Ponnala Lakshmaiah said the Experts committee made recommendations on mainly ten issues. The committee suggested to the government to hold talks continuously with 25 institutions with whom agreements were made at the International Partnership Summit along with steps to ensure global partnership with the institutions that are going to be set up in the State. The committee also recommended appointment of a secretary-level official to grant permissions to IT institutions expeditiously in the second ranking cities in the State.
Lakshmaiah said that the committee recommendations were under active examination and the government would step up efforts to attract more investment to the State. (NSS)
