The MLAs, who were expelled from the Congress party on Friday, have expressed happiness over the decision announced by PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.
Talking to reporters here, Darsi MLA Sivaprasada Reddy said that his suspension was ridiculous as he has already resigned from the party long ago to join the YSR Congress party. He said many more MLAs from the Congress party would soon join the YSRCP. Kakinada MLA D Chandrashekhar Reddy too said that since he has already resigned, his expulsion was meaningless.
Meanwhile, Machilipatnam MLA Perni Nani welcomed his explusion from the Congress party. (INN)
