Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Exhibition Society as well as the 75th All India Industrial Exhibition-2015 on January 1, 2015.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Finance Minister and Exhibition Society president Etela Rajender said the Society which was striving for development of women’s education apart from creating awareness on world class industrial products by promoting them at users’ doorstep, was founded in 1938. The Chief Minister will unveil the painting of Platinum Jubilee depicting the important events of the Exhibition Society pertaining to the period from its incorporation till date, he added. He also said there are some 2,500 stalls in the Exhibition which are occupied by various companies from all over the country, including over 100 Public Sector undertakings. (NSS)
