74th All India industrial Exhibition 2014 will be inaugurated today at 5 p.m. for the first time C.M. of the State has not been invited to inaugurate the exhibition. Senior most Minister from Telangana, Mr. P. Lakshmiya has been invited to inaugurate the exhibition.
Talking to newsmen yesterday, President of Exhibition Society, Mr. K. Jana Reddy told that the exhibition would continue up to 15th February. When asked did the C.M. refused to inaugurate the exhibition, he said it is not so, this time it was decided to invite the senior most minister from Telangana. He further told that there will be 2500 stalls in the exhibition. State Govt. and Central Govt. are also setting up there stalls. This time, Kamineni Hospital will provide free medical aid for the public where Cardiology, Orthopedics, Surgery, Gynecology experts will be available. He mentioned that during the exhibition security arrangements have been made. 7th January will be Ladies Day. This time, the stall of Metro Rail will attract the attention of the public, since Metro Rail Coach is being displayed for the first time. He informed that after the enhancement of ticket, Exhibition Society got rupees 10 crore income last year. Parking arrangements are being made in Govt. offices in front of exhibition ground. He told that Exhibition Society is not getting land for parking space. If the Govt. gives land, the society has a plan to construct parking space.
Mr. Jana Reddy also told that Exhibition Society has plans to establish medical college. Present on this occasion were Mr. Ashwini Murugum, Secretary, Mr. Yasir Arafath, Convener, Media Publicity and Mr. B. Harinath Reddy, Advisor, Exhibition Society.
