Hyderabad: After the major fire that engulfed All India Industrial Exhibition, in which nearly 320 stalls were gutted by fire, the restoration work is being done on a war footing. Cranes and manual labours were engaged to remove the debris.
Members of the exhibition society called an emergency meeting in which it was decided to restore the stalls. It was also decided to reopen the exhibition from today. Exhibition society is refunding the rents collected by the affected stall holders.
Secretary of Exhibition Society G V Ranga Reddy told Siasat that the exhibition will be reopened from today after taking effective precautionary measures.
The society has formed a 3-member committee which will assess the losses after speaking to the affected stall holders.
