Exercise Right to Vote: Minister

Minister for Primary Education S Sailajanath on Tuesday called upon the electorate to exercise their franchise judiciously.

Talking to media persons after exercising his franchise at a polling booth in Anantapur district, Sailajanath appealed to voters to use Right to Vote guaranteed under the Constitution of India and elect the candidates considering their past record, history and performance.

“Everyone has to exercise their Right to Vote in the by-elections and make the democratic exercise successful,” he pointed out.

“Now it is the time for the voters to give their verdict on the by-elections. Still yesterday we have campaigned in the elections explaining the government programmes and development works. Now they have right to decide on whom they want and give their clear mandate,” he stated.

The minister cast his vote by standing in the queue like an ordinary voter.
