Key Accountabilities:
I.Taxation:
Day to day updation of SAP with VAT /TDS/Service Tax entries
Filing of periodic returns with various authorities (eg: VAT/CST, service tax, TDS etc.)
Preparation of working for payment of taxes and ensuring timely payment of taxes
Preparation of schedules and information for VAT/Service/ Income Tax/ Transfer pricing authorities.
Preparation of reconciliation of books with return filed with various tax authorities.
Issuing and maintenance records of C and F forms and Waybills
Ensuring Compliance with regulatory requirements of VAT/Service Tax/Income Tax etc.
Ensuring proper documentation of all tax related documents
II.Finance:
Verification of invoices with underlying supporting documents and parking the same in SAP ERP.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling account payables including dispute resolution.
Co-ordinating with commercial, procurement, project and other department to ensure invoices are received, certified and posted in system on timely basis.
Ensuring appropriate deduction and accounting of withholding tax.
Preparation of various MIS reports for account payable, expense tracker details etc.
Monitoring and accounting for various expenses to ensure accounting completeness
Follow-up with other departments and vendors for proper documentation and records
Liaison with third parties, consultants and client for various matters
Assist in audit closing and related deliverables
Ensuring timely payment of account payable
Preparing and Liaoning with Bank of Bank Guarantee and Letter of Credit for Vendor
Special Projects covering wide array of areas.
Kind of Experience:
Bachelor of Commerce 3 Years – 6 Years experience
Working Knowledge and Experience over Indian direct and indirect tax laws
Experience in SAP ERP
Experience in handling vendors / account payables
Ensuring timely processing of routine activities like posting of journal entries, account reconciliation, payment processing, etc.
