Mumbai, June 01: Saif Ali Khan’s second production finally goes on floors.
Saif Ali Khan’s production Agent Vinod finally rolls. Late Saturday night, the actor shot for the film at a bungalow in Kandivali. His ladylove Kareena Kapoor co-stars.
Saif has shot at this location for his earlier movies like Omkara and Parineeta besides some ad films. The luck factor? “Not exactly, ” says the actor-turned-producer. “It is because the location went exactly with what we had in mind.”
Action scenes
The first day’s shoot had Saif filming for a flashback scene. Bebo was not present for the shoot. “I shot some action scenes which involved me doing stuff like doing some high jumps and rolling down a staircase.
It was all done for real without any wires. I reached home on Sunday morning all bruised. And to think that it is just the beginning, ” points out Saif. “I am really looking forward to doing the real action drama.”
Next week, the unit moves to Morocco where they will be shooting major chunks at Tangiers and Casablanca. This will be followed by schedules in Amsterdam and later in Pakistan.
No stress
Though announced a while back, Agent Vinod directed by Sriram Raghavan, kept on getting postponed. “I wasn’t stressed about it so it is not that I am a relieved person now”, says Saif. “I wanted it to be my kind of movie so I did my best to shape it.”
Agent Vinod also has Eros as producer. “There has been a lot of speculation about the project and its budget. I have stuck to what was originally planned and it stays true to my vision, ” he adds. Saif’s first production was the Imtiaz Ali directed Love Aaj Kal with Deepika Padukone.
