With the Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidates leading in over 60 Assembly seats and 12 Lok Sabha seats, the excited party workers and leaders immersed in celebrations. A large number of revelers thronged the Telangana Bhavan and expressed their happiness by dancing to the tunes of drums. Party vice-president Nayani Narasimha Reddy also expressed his joy over his party’s feat by dancing with party activists.
In all the districts in Telangana, the party workers were celebrating party victory by bursting crackers and dancing to the tunes of drum beats. As per results announced at 11.30 am, the TRS was leading in 65 Assembly seats of which results in three seats were officially declared. KTR has retained his Sircilla Assembly seat by an impressive majority of votes. Similarly, Aler TRS candidate Gongidi Sunitha and Bhongir TRS candidate Pyla Shekhar Reddy won the seats. It is learnt that party chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao personally spoke to all party candidates and requested them to come to the Telangana Bhavan. (NSS)
