In compliance to the instructions issued by Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise for conducting special drive for unearthing illicit distillation of liquor, massive raids have been conducted today in Gangabowli, Pahad, Chenne ki Batti, Shivlalnagar, Charminar and Malakpet areas in the city.
The Excise officials seized the I D Liquor/wash and black jaggery and arrested ten persons involved in illicit liquor manufacture. Prohibition and Excise Superintendents of Hyderabad District along with AES’s, all SHO’s have participated in the raids.(NSS)
