Hyderabad, November 11: Urdu language has been declared the 2nd language in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh but constant injustice is being meted out towards Urdu. In the exams which are conducted for the Urdu teachers neither the exam papers are written correctly nor is standard paper used for their printing.
The question paper of DCEB quarterly exams for Urdu 1st language held during October 28 to November 3 had a number of mistakes. Very low quality paper had been used for its printing. The maximum marks for the exam paper were written as 100 marks while the marks given with each question when added came out to be 120 marks. The paper had innumerable spelling mistakes too. The question paper was handwritten it was not composed as was the case with the other question papers.
Why this step motherly treatment is meted out towards Urdu language? The department of education and government Andhra Pradesh should investigate into the matter since Urdu knowing people have every right to know who is responsible for this criminal negligence.
