Revenue Minister, N Raghuveera Reddy today said the government has taken a decision to reduce the examination fees for examinations of Village Revenue Officers (VROs) and Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs).
Talking to mediapersons at Secretariat, the minister said the fees for VRO examination was reduced to Rs 300 from Rs 500 and Rs 150 from Rs 300 for VRAs respectively for OC, BC and SC, ST categories respectively while Physically handicapped are exempted from paying any fees.
Keeping the candidates’ demand for reduction of fees in view, the State government has decided to this effect, he said. The government has directed the officials concerned to take necessary measures, he added. He also said the District Collectors were directed to release notifications related to recruitment of over 6,000 VROs and VRAs across the state. (NSS)
