Exam fear drives B Tech student to suicide

The fear of examinations drove a 20-year-old student to commit suicide by hanging himself at his residence.

According to Uppal police, The incident occurred on Thursday night hours. The deceased M Pruthvi Raj (20) an B Tech third year student Resident of Indiranagar of Ramanthapur, took the extreme step of suicide by hanging with a ceiling fan at his residence.

Enquiries by the police revealed that Pruthvi was studying in B Tech third year and was afraid that he would fail in examinations scheduled to be held from june month. The fear of failing in examinations is suspected to the reason that drove Pruthvi to suicide.

Uppal police registered a case and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives. (INN)
