Vijayawada, September 18: Former MLA AJayaprakash today filed a plea in the Supreme Court against the attack of Telangana lawyer on the High Court demanding 42 per cent reservation for them in judicial posts.
Advocate G Satish filed the PIL on behalf of Jayaprakash, who demanded that the errant Telangana advocates be derecognised. He said no injustice was done to Telangana in judicial posts. Of the 39 government pleaders in the High court, 18 hail from Telangana, 13 from Andhra and 8 from Rayalaseema. Of the 72 assistant government pleaders, 33 are from Telangana, 26 from Andhra and 13 from Rayalaseema regions.
