A newly-wed woman, who was allegedly attacked by her ex-fiancee here on Sunday, died at a city hospital today, police said.
The victim, identified as Saroja (21) was allegedly stabbed on back with a sickle by one Raju at Kandukur area
after she broke off her engagement with him and married her lover on March 22, they said.
Police have already arrested Raju who attacked Saroja, working as a nurse, at a bus stop in the area in front
of her husband.
According to police, Raju was angry as the victim broke off her engagement with him on February 6.
