Mr. M A Basith ex-corporator Doodh Bowli and General Secretary Deccan Waqf Protection Society died of heart attack on New Year night. Funeral prayer was performed at Asr prayers while burial took place at Bodki Bi Saheba graveyard.
Mr. M A Basith rendered remarkable services for protection of Waqf properties, restoration of Masajid and other community activities. Hundreds including city dignitaries like Mr. Zahed Ali Khan Siasat editor, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan Managing editor Siasat daily, TDP leader Mr. Ali Masqati, Mr. Hamza bin Omer Al-Jaberi, Mr. Osman bin Moahmmed Al-Hajari, Mr. Laeq Ali, Ali bin Sayeed Alkatmi, Mr. Alhaj Syed Saleem, Mr. Jamal Saber, Maqbool Alhajari and Mohammed Inayat Tawakkali, attended the funeral prayer.
