Hyderabad, August 14: Dear readers! He is out of sight for the last 21 years but his face still sticks to the minds of people. Qadeer’s face! This is the face of a poor person who is bearing the suffering and agony of imprisonment. Constant imprisonment has weakened his body so much so that he looks much older than his age. The incident occurred on December 12, 1990. Since then he is bearing the suffering and agony of imprisonment. Though he has completed his sentence of 14 years but he is not released till now. Every one knows on what charges he was punished for.
His family inspite of all sufferings and troubles thanks Allah. They say we are thankful to God for whatever he has done to us.
Ex-constable Mohammad Abdul Qadeer is the son of late Mohammad Abdul Qader. He is 53. He has 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Abdul Qadeer is the eldest. He got married in 1986 just four years after his marriage the incidental accident occurred on December 12, 1990. At that time Abdul Qadeer was performing his duty at Shalibanda police station.
Abdul Qadeer has two sons and two daughters. The eldest daughter is 23 and has done B.Com. The elder son is doing polytechnic in civil engineering. Abdul Qadeer’s wife is no doubt an excellent mother and a faithful wife. You can imagine the agony of a woman who had been married for four years when her husband was jailed. Still she didn’t lose patience and fought the situation with courage and she didn’t leave any stone unturned to provide best education to her children. During the conversation she said in a heart throbbing manner “although my husband has completed his sentence, still he is in fail for 7 years. Why?
Abdul Qadeer is not being released on parole on the occasions of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Azha for the last 3 years. He was released for 7 days on June 3 on the death of his mother. On the occasion of Ramadan his family hopes that this time he will celebrate Eid along with them.
