Ex-constable Abdul Qadeer to be out on parole

Ex-constable Abdul Qadeer has been granted a 30 day parole. Home ministry of Telangana government issued a GO in this connection. His wife Sabera Begum has earlier appealed to deputy chief minister Mr. Mahmood Ali to grant parole to her husband, on which Mr. Mahmood Ali had made representation with home minister Mr. N Narsimha Reddy.

Later home ministry decided to grant a 1-month parole to Abdul Qadeer. Abdul Qadeer who is languishing in jail for 24 years is likely to be released on parole on Monday. He was convicted and awarded life imprisonment for killing assistant commissioner police Mr. Satya during communal riots in 1990.

Abdul Qadeer is undergoing treatment in Gandhi Hospital as he is suffering from diabetes and many other serious health problems. In 2012 his right leg was amputated.
