Hyderabad: Senior TDP Leader and former Kamareddy MLA syed Yousuf Ali joined the Congress party on Sunday.
Yousuf Ali joined the Congress in the presence of Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir and AICC Secretary Mohammed Saleem at his residence.
Yousuf Ali was elected as MLA Kamareddy and had also served Chairman of Wakf Board Chairman. He had contested as TRS candidate from Zahirabad Parliamentary Constituency in 2009 elections. But later, he returned to the TDP.
Speaking on the occasion, Yousuf Ali said he had joined the Congress party without any conditions and he would work hard for party’s victory in Telangana Assembly elections.
