In a horrific incident, an ex-Army officer has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and chopping her body into more than hundred pieces and quietly disposing them over several days.
Reports suggest that Somnath Parida murdered his wife Paridaa a fortnight ago but the incident came to light only on Friday.
The accused, Somnath Parida, has been arrested from his house at Nayapalli.
Parida,confessed to killing his wife and is being interrogated further by the police.
“When the relative visited Somnath’s house Somnath became nervous. He said that Usashri has gone out. The visitor complained about the horrible stink emanating from the house and found Usashri’s body parts stuffed inside a box,” the police officer said.
