Former AP Youth Congress President TJR Sudhakar on Monday called on PCC president B Satyanarayana and presented a memorandum mentioning the names of seven ministers and other MPs, MLAs and MLCs accusing them of covertly working for the YSR Congress party.
Talking to the media persons after meeting the PCC chief, Sudhakar said that some ministers, who were also part of YSR’s cabinet, were working against the interest of the Congress party to benefit YSR Congress party. Demanding immediate action against such leaders, Sudhakar alleged that Congress Party and the Government in the state have been facing problems due to such ‘covert’ leaders.
Sudhakar said that he would send a copy of the same memorandum to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Refusing to revealing the names mentioned listed in the memorandum, Sudhakar alleged that these leaders were deliberately creating hurdles in the implementation of welfare schemes. It could lead to public outrage and benefit the opposition parties to grill the Congress government, he said.
Sudhakar made it clear that he will make public the names of those leaders if the government fails to take action against them within 10 days. He demanded the government to take immediate action against the ministers and the leaders to protect the party and the government in the State.
