Calling upon people to become volunteers of Swatch Bharat, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu today said, “We should evolve plans keeping in view of future needs and not present needs”.
He was addressing a function of “Swatch Bharat-Swatch Hyderabad” organised by GHMC at LB Stadium here. Venkaiah Naidu said prime minister Narendra Modi has said that Swatch Bharat program should convert into a public agitation to make the country “swatch”. Making the country “swatch” is not a easy task, first we should change our mind set and thinking , than only we can convert the country as a “ swatch Bharat”.
Earlier, addressing the function Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya said the motive and aim of swatch Bharat would be success with the cooperation of the people.
Besides Dattatreya, Telangana ministers KTR, Padma Rao, Talsani Srinivas Yadav, MP Sitaram Naik, MLAs Gopinath,Tigala Krishna Reddy, Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, G Kishan Reddy, city mayor Bontu Rammhan, deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin, GHMC commissioner Janardhan Reddy, Swatch Bharat Ambassador Pullel Gopichand and others attended the function.
