IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said all arrangements have been made for the launch of Hyderabad Metro Rail at Miyapur in the city. “Everything is in place for Metro Rail carnival that will give a major relief to the denizens of the twin cities”, he said.
Along with a team of official,s the minister inspected the arrangements at Miyapur station and held a review meeting. The visit assumes significance ahead of its launch by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Miyapur station at 2.15 pm. “Just like any other Hyderabadi, I am also eagerly awaiting the launch of Metro Rail”, KTR stated. The Prime Minister will launch the metro rail as per schedule and will travel to Kukatpally and return, he said. The new Metro Rail launch will pave way for easy transport system in public domain, he said. It is time for Hyderabad to celebrate the occasion as traffic problems which are pertinent will come to a halt to some extent and ease related tension, the minister averred. It will also lead to rapid development and new type of financial transactions and proves to be a key public transport system in the city, KTR added.(NSS)
