New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a blistering attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that the party is all about lies.
“The whole architecture of BJP is about lies, the whole structure is about lies,” said Rahul Gandhi, during a presser post his first Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting as the party president, here.
“If you see the Modi model in Gujarat, it was a clear lie. When we went to Gujarat, the people said there is no model, they said what is going on is stealing of people’s resources. The promise of 15 lakhs in every bank account, Demonetisation, ‘Gabbar Singh Tax’ everything is a lie”, he added,
Further speaking about the 2G spectrum allocation case verdict that was delivered yesterday by a Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court, acquitting all the accused, he said, “Everyone knows about 2G, the truth has come out on front of you.”
Rahul Gandhi succeeded his mother Sonia Gandhi and took over as the Congress president, on December 16. He was officially declared the party president in a ceremony held at the party’s 24 Akbar Road headquarters here. (ANI)
