London: Europe’s main stock markets slipped at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.3 percent at 7,542.84 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index fell 0.2 percent to 12,355.53 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.1 percent to 5,401.43, compared with closing levels on Tuesday.
