Hyderabad, December 22: (Siasat News) Maulana Syed Abdullah Hasani Nadvi, Professor of Hadith, Nadwathul Ulema Lucknow said that the thought process of the Muslims has changed. It has to be altered. If this is done, circumstances would certainly change. He was inaugurating Creekside International School yesterday at Aziznagar Near Osman Sagar, Hyderabad. He said that the educated section of the Muslims is also not aware of the history of Islam. This is the reason that they seek their prosperity in following the west. Today, as we take pride in learning English, in the same way the Englishmen used to feel proud learning Arabic.
Whatever knowledge the West has, it is the gift of the Muslims but they have not used this gift properly. After equipping Europe with knowledge, Muslims have indulged in luxuries and as a result of which they have lost their grandeur and dignity whatever Europe wanted to learn from us it did but whatever path we had shown it forget. It was obligatory for Europe to learn but it did not do so. Europe acquired knowledge from the Muslims but it left out morals and etiquette. Muslims had told to recite the Quran starting with the name of Allah (SWT) but it didn’t do so. Had it followed it, the knowledge Europeans acquired from the Muslims would have benefited them.
Maulana Hasani said that even today the Muslims have hope, courage, struggle and action with them. Whatever energy the Muslims have today, if it is used properly, they can change the world. Prophet Mohammed (SAS) said that he was leaving us on the clean road, the night of which is as bright as day. If we acquire the light of the Quran, even the dark night would turn into a glittering day and thus we can continue our journey. Islam always acquires new blood. Once again Muslims are ready to lead the world to the right path and they will succeed.
