The APSRTC Employees’ Union and TMU on Monday served a strike notice on the Corporation management threatening that they would go on strike if the latter failed to concede their demands by June 10.
It may be mentioned here that the workers unions in the APSRTC have been demanding upward wage revision and regularization of services of contract employees.
The unions were forced to serve strike notices on the Corporation as it reportedly failed to concede their demands like regularization of services of 17,000 contract employees and appointment of a new pay commission to revise their wages. (NSS)
