Seeking an ETL Developer resource in the Dell IT Information Capital and Data Sciences Information Governance Team. You will provide leadership in maturing the information governance capabilities for Dell across multiple subject areas/systems, designing/developing information based solutions with the right level of controls, and delivering value through information. You will need to understand the business implications of technical solutions, and assist in defining the technology solutions to support any future business requirements.

Responsibilities
Develops Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse, database, reporting and ETL solutions to solve complex business problems through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key stakeholders
Uses expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, project, service level agreements and staffing plans.
Interacts with business users and I/T to define current and future solutions and requirements.
Plans, conducts and manages assignments across multiple projects with varying priorities
Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
Responsible for preparing design documentation, mapping specifications, development standards, and other documentation supporting solution
Requirements:
8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
2 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Teradata stored procedures, Informatica and ETL design & development.
Experience with data modeling, data mapping, database development including creating tables, views, and stored procedures, and performance tuning
Experience working with enterprise database platforms including Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server
Experience with Unix scripting, Java, and .Net
Advanced knowledge of system development methodology, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
Experience working on large complex enterprise projects.
