Mumbai: Gulf carrier Etihad Airways in association with partner airline Jet Airways today offered special business and economy class all-inclusive return fares for international travel across its global network from India via its Abu Dhabi hub.
The tickets under the low-fare offer can be booked till January 31 for travel from February 1 to December 31, Etihad said in a release.
From 14 gateway cities in India, passengers travelling with Etihad Airways and Jet Airways in business and economy class can choose from a wide choice of destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, North and South America, it said.
The airline has offered these low-fares for global destinations such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Sao Paulo, Frankfurt, London, Rome, Nairobi, Johannesburg, among others.
“This is an exciting opportunity for guests from our gateway cities in India looking to travel to destinations around the world on Etihad Airways’ extensive network, enabling them to take advantage of great fares and enjoy a world-class travel experience on board our modern fleet of aircraft,” Etihad Airways’ Vice President for India and Sub-Continent Neerja Bhatia said.
According to release, while the minimum economy class fares of Rs 40,289 offered by Etihad Airways are for Frankfurt, the maximum fares Rs 66,037 are for the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
Similarly, the minimum fares offered for business class stands at Rs 90,576 for Rome while the maximum fares, Rs 1,67,785, are for the airline’s San Francisco flight.
Travellers to the US have the additional benefit of clearing US Immigration and Customs at the US Pre-Clearance facilities at Abu Dhabi International Airport during their transit, the airline said.
This ensures they arrive in the United States as domestic passengers and avoid the need to complete immigration formalities upon arrival, it added.
