Etela warns against diversion of fine rice

Telangana Minister for Civil Supplies and Finance Etela Rajendar today warned of criminal action against those who resort to misuse fine rice scheme.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Rajendar said the scheme is aimed at providing healthy food to the students studying in welfare hostels. He also interacted with ST Hostels’ students, who thanked him for distributing fine rice. The minister said any diversion of the rice will be a crime and the government will take stringent measures to punish the guilty.

Rajender asked the officials and staff concerned to ensure that the students get timely and healthy food prepared in complete hygienic conditions. He also said the TRS government was planning to provide full quantity food to the students instead of limited quantity being offered now.
