Etela Budget, a jugglery of numbers: TD

Telangana Telugu Desam leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, L Ramana and S V Veeraiah today ridiculed that 2015 budget presented by Finance Minister Etela Rajender is just a jugglery of numbers with all false projections.

Speaking to mediapersons, the TTDP leaders said the TRS Government came up with new projects as the previous ones need more allocations, they said. They also alleged that the TRS government, which failed to spend 15 per cent of budgetary allocations of the previous budget, has come up with a big budget with poor allocations to key sectors, they alleged.

They also alleged that the budget is pro-contractors and investors-friendly to mint money. The TRS Cabinet has no woman members while the budget failed to allot adequate funds for women’s welfare, they said. The merger of TD MLCs into TRS in Council is violation of Constitution. The government ignored the youth, students and farmers. The TD leaders found fault with the government for coming up with a “bogus” budget which failed to allot adequate allocations to agriculture, Telangana martyrs, SC, ST Sub Plans, welfare and other sectors. The Government has neglected the farmers, irrigation sector, education, health and welfare, they charged.
Earlier, the suspended TD members took up a rally to Raj Bhavan from Gun Park. They accused the TRS Government of throttling their voice to escape from the facts of its lapses and failures. “The ruling party is afraid of exposure of their misdeeds and threw us out”, they charged. Agreeing to apologize despite no fault of insulting the national anthem, they demanded that the ruling party withdraw their suspension. “We will take up a rally to Raj Bhavan on March 13 to complain to Governor ESL Narasimhan, they added.
