Finance Minister Etela Rajender today directed officials concerned to purchase rotten and discolored seed under the effect of untimely rains.
Talking to media persons at Secretariat, Etela said the government has asked the Civil Supplies department to provide immediate succor to farmers suffering huge crop loss.
He said the government would hold discussions with Bankers on loan waiver announced for farmers in Telangana State.
We will talk to lead bankers tomorrow and take a decision on waiver of Rs 1 lakh loans promised for the farming community.
The TRS Government is committed for keeping its promises made during general elections, he said.
