Hyderabad: Even as the Minority Welfare Department has turned a blind eye to the miserable condition of the workers of Urdu language institutions, Finance Minister E Rajendra felt sorry for the dismal condition of the workers and assured complete support. While expressing sympathy over non-payment of salaries to the workers of Urdu Computer Centres and libraries, he showed anger over Minority Welfare Department officials.
The minister termed the act of depriving the workers of one month’s salary as an inhuman act and revealed that he is ready to issue salary budget but officials of Minority Welfare Department has prevented him from doing so by submitting false report.
