Even as both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments were on loggerhead over cash-for-vote case and phone tapping issue, TDP today demanded central government to recall Governor E S L Narasimhan alleging that he was working as the Governor of Telangana state.
Speaking to media at NTR Bhavan, TDP senior leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari said that either E S L Narasimhan should be recalled or a separate Governor should be appointed for Andhra Pradesh.
Referring to Talasani Srinivas Yadav who switched his loyalty to TRS and become minister in KCR cabinet, she said the governor says Talasani has resigned. If Talsani has resigned, whether the governor does not know the rules to have the elections for the constituency within six month? How can Talasani become minister in TRS government without resigning from TDP, she questioned.
Another senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu said Hyderabad city was not a property of KCR. He said five crore people of A P has similar right on Hyderabad city which was joint capital for ten years.
He demanded the centre for the removal of governor E S L Narasimhan and ACB director general A K Khan. (NSS)
