TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao has strongly condemned Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari for describing the farmer, who had shown ‘chappal’ to him during Warangal by-election campaign, as mad.
Speaking to media persons, Errabelli asked if the farmer was ‘mad’, then why he was taken to the Police Station instead of a Mental Hospital. He said the farmer’s action reflects the agony and pain being suffered by the entire farming community in Telangana. He said that the State Government’s negligence has pushed hundreds of farmers to suicide. He said that the government has failed to clear crop loan waiver dues and farmers were also denied proper MSP.
Errabelli asked the TRS Government to focus on resolving the problems being faced by farmers. He said that the TDP would continue to fight for the rights of farmers. (INN)
