Noted Social Activist, Ms. Teesta Setalwad told that the country is passing through an Era of Communalism and Anarchy. The social, political and economic condition of the country is getting very critical day by day. The politics of casteism, communalism and deterioration of Human Rights has become the order of the day which is creating a great danger to the solidarity of the country. She was delivering Sundariah Memorial Lecture at Sundariah Vigyana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally, Hyderabad.
She further told that BJP led Government in the Center is following anti-people, anti-farmer and anti-labourer policies which is creating political anarchy in the country. She also told that BJP Government is playing the politics of religion. Saffron outfits are spreading communal hatred in the country, Weaker sections are not getting justice. The rights of SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities are being crushed. The education system of the country is getting saffronized. Unimportant and imaginary material is being included in text books. She appealed to all the secular organizations to struggle against all these dangers and to fight for the political stability in the country. Chairman of the trust, Mr. B. V. Raghavulu, Mr. S. Vinay Kumar and Mr. T. Veerabhadram also spoke on this occasion.
