Hyderabad, December 27: Competitions of recitation of the Quran, elocution etc. were organized for the English medium students. Students from 60 schools participated in these competitions. These competitors were organized under the patronage of Maulana Syed Hamid Mohammed Quadri, President of Anuman-e-Quaderia in connection with the “Deeni Taleemi Rally” to be organized next month. Mr. Mohammed Khaleequr Rahman, Congress leader participated in the function as the Chief Guest.
He applauded the efforts of Anjuman-e-Quaderia for its efforts in the field of propagation of Islamic education. Maulana Vicar Pasha presided over the meeting.
Maulana Hamid Quadri told that the plant which was planted by Maulana Syed Mohammed Quadri 60 years ago has now become a strong tree in the form of a network of English medium high schools where Islamic education is also offered. General Secretary, Maulana Ghulam Samdani highlighted the aims and objectives of Anjuman-e-Quaderia Maulana. Qutub Husaini conducted the meeting.
Syed Basha Mohiuddin, Mohammed Khaleel Quadri were the judges for the competitions. Maulana Khaja Ali, Maulana Saifullah Husaini, Mahboob Ali, S.A. Hafeez Quadri & Afroze Hashmi were also present on this occasion.
