Measures should be taken to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply during the month of Ramadan. TDP MLC Mr. Alhaj Mohammed Saleem demanded this while taking part in the discussion during question hour in the legislative council. He told that government should convene a meeting on government level ahead of Ramadan and review cleaning, whitewashing and illumination arrangements around the masajid of the state.
Mr. Mohammed Saleem stressed the need for supply of water to masajid through tankers during Ramadan. Minister for municipal administration Mr. Mahindra Reddy assured the house that a meeting will be called ahead of Ramadan to review the arrangements.
