Ensure quality in projects: Harish

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today asked the officials to complete all the irrigation projects as per schedule with a focus on quality.
Harish Rao held a high level review meeting at Jala Saudha on the projects and alleged that the Congress government neglected the irrigation projects and Telangana was deprived of waters for crops. Now that the ruling party is giving priority for the projects to irrigate about one crore acres over five years he said. The state is poised to become a place for completing the projects in record time and will remain monumental in future, he hoped. Kaleshwaram, Palamur Nalgonda and other works will be completed as per time with quality he remarked. The minister asked the officials to not to waste public money for the completion of the projects.
