Muzzaffarpur, (Bihar) Oct. 19 : Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi has called upon the election officials to ensure social harmony during the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.
“As far as law and order is concerned, preventive action is being taken like execution of non-bailable warrant. Inquiry has been initiated in more than 1700 places, in areas of Model code of Conduct. We need to make sure that the inquiry in unbiased. In Muzaffarpur we spoke to all the officials involved in the third and fourth phase election. Instructions have to given to them to ensure social harmony during elections,” Zaidi said in a press conference here.
“Got information about Hawala sting operation, IT Department took action and recovered 18-19 crore of unaccounted money,” he added. (ANI)
