New Delhi, June 10: The three member committee appointed by Darul-uloom Deoband to enquire about the charges leveled against Maulana Vastanvi will submit its report by next month. The acting Director of Darululoom, Maulana Adbul Qasim Numani told that the meeting of “Shoora” (Advisory Council) is likely to be held on 27th July.
The enquiry report will be placed before the advisory committee. Maulana Vastanvi was appointed Director of Darululoom on 10th January. Later he had applauded Narendra Modi and his developmental policies. He had told the Muslims to forget communal riots and to march hand in hand with the development of Gujarat.
There was a bitter agitation against these remarks throughout the country. The members of the Advisory Committee are Mufti Manzoor Ahmed, Mr. Mohammed Ismail and Maulana Mohammed Ibrahim.
