An enquiry has been orereded to probe the alleged suicide of a jawan posted at Imphal West.
The Army personnel, Stephen Raj, allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday night. PIB (Defence Wing) informed that the soldier, who hails from Tamil Nadu, was unmarried. The reason for committing suicide is
not known. The police at Saparmaina was informed about the incident and they carried out the necessary formalities.
Next of kin of the soldier have been informed about the incident and a court of inquiry was ordered .
