Enhancement of budget under your purview, struggle for 12% reservation: Amer Ali Khan

Hyderabad: News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Amer Ali Khan demanded the Govt. of Telangana to enhance its budget to Rs. 5000 cr. which is in its purview and later start longer protest campaign initiative for providing 12% reservations. Mr. KCR should launch a struggle at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi or approach Supreme Court for reservations in order to fulfill the promise he made during the election campaign.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan was addressing a large gathering at Koratla on 24th February. He said that the Muslims should awake for getting their problems resolved. The situation in Gulf countries is also not favourable. More than one lakh persons are coming back from Gulf countries. Muslims cannot set right their economy without proper financial planning.

Referring to Triple Talaq and ban on beef, Mr. Amer Ali Khan told that these are the issues for which common citizens have no role to play. Although these issues are important, it is for the religious leaders to play a key role to get these issues resolved.

They should formulate a special strategy to influence public representatives so that they could echo their voice in the portals of Assembly and Parliament.

Congress MLA, Mr. P. Jeevan Reddy told that politicians should fulfill the promises they make. He impressed upon Mr. KCR to move earth and heaven to get reservations.

Mr. Vidya Sagar Rao, MLA of Koratla told that Mr. KCR is the Messiah of the Muslims. He applauded the welfare schemes formulated for the Muslims and said that Mr. KCR did the work which was not done during the past 60 years. TS is the only state which has a budget of more than Rs. 1000 cr. Mr. KCR is taking appropriate steps to protect Wakf properties and to get the Masajid repaired.

Mr. Ahmed Abdul Nayeem, Vice President of MPJ lamented that despite the lapse of four years, Mr. KCR did not fulfill his promise which is causing a lot of loss to the Muslims in the fields of education and employment. He applauded the efforts of Mr. Amer Ali Khan for starting a campaign for 12% reservations. He mentioned that Sachar Committee had reported that the Muslim committee is the most backward one. If Muslims do not struggle for getting 12% reservation now, the future generation will not forgive them.

Continuing his address, Mr. Amer Ali Khan told that he has devoted himself to the cause of reservations. He stressed the need for the Muslims to sacrifice anything if needed. He mentioned that the Central Govt. returned the bill. Despite this, the silence of the Muslims is incomprehensible. Political parties make a false promise during their election campaign but after their success in elections, they neglect the Muslims in every field.

Mr. Mohammed Mobeen Pasha, Advocate in his presidential speech applauded the efforts of Mr. Amer Ali Khan and said that his struggle is unforgettable. He appealed to the Muslims to become part of the campaign to get success.

Mufti Moiz, General Secretary of Jamiat-ul-Ulema, Jagtiyal blamed the Govt. for not fulfilling its promise. He further told that no government is sympathetic or sincere for the Muslims.

Mr. Mohammed Saleem Farooqui Correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily, Koratla and Convener of the function welcomed the guests and the audience at the beginning of the program. He also garlanded Mr. Amer Ali Khan.

At the end of the function, Mr. Amer Ali Khan distributed certificates to the women who completed tailoring course.
