Johannesburg, Dec.13 : England skipper Alastair Cook has said that his side are not sure of their best Playing XI and are looking for the best combination ahead of their four-match Test series against South Africa.
The 30-year-old said that there were lot of places still vacant in the team, thus insisting his players to work harder in order to grab the positions.
Cook asserted that the upcoming series would help the players to make name for themselves and to nail their places in the team, Sport24 reported.
Echoing similar views, coach Trevor Bayliss said that the two practice matches before the Test would help in finalising the positions of some of the players.
Meanwhile, South Africa, who lost the recently concluded Test series against India 0-3, will aim to bounce back when they will take on England in the first Test, starting from December 26 in Durban. (ANI)
