England coach feels team needs ‘more luck’ to win

Johannesburg: England head coach Trevor Bayliss has admitted that his team has performed really well during their first Test against Pakistan, adding that if luck favors them they will definitely win against the latter in the upcoming matches.

The first Test of the three-match series ended with a dramatic draw after Adil Rashid claimed a five-wicket haul to dismiss Pakistan for a paltry 173 in the second innings.

Lavishing praise on Rashid, Bayliss said that the player was more than capable of doing things, Sport24 reported.

Bayliss also lauded skipper Alastair Cook for his brilliant first-inning score of 263, saying that it was just an unbelievable effort and added that the latter has superb powers of concentration.

Besides three Tests, England will also play four ODIs and three T20s against Pakistan.

They will play their second Test on October 22 in Dubai.
