Mumbai, June 20: A second year engineering student was allegedly raped by a group of youngsters, two of whom were arrested by the police on Friday, on a complaint filed by the victim.
Meera road police filed a complaint against seven boys for allegedly raping her and shooting her MMS. The MMS was circulated amongst the students of the college, said sources.
According to the sources, the girl was continuously raped from June 14 till yesterday when the girl summed up her courage to approach the police. She blamed that the boys blackmailed her of circulating the MMS, which is why she kept quiet for so long.
Police is looking for five more accused in the case.
