Hyderagad, June 05: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs one crore allegedly belonging to an executive engineer of an irrigation project in Mahabubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh.
ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches at different places including the residence of G Manikya Rao, an executive engineer at Priyadarshini Jurala project, ACB officials said. The searches were also conducted at the residences of Rao’s relatives in Guntur, Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad districts.
The assets found included three apartments in Hyderabad and Guntur, 9.82 acres of agricultural land in Guntur district, and jewellery, according to the ACB.
