Roles & Responsibilities:
The resource will support monitoring infrastructure of CCB business-aligned applications using a variety of tools including: Wily, Splunk, Dynatrace, HP Topaz/BSM, Tivoli Framework, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Netview, Tivoli Enterprise Console, all feeding into production alerts and a custom management dashboard.
The position will focus on SLA Instrumentation and work in conjunction with the infrastructure support teams and development teams to ensure that applications are enabled with application monitoring and infrastructure monitoring. The resource will focus on application monitoring and assure that alerts are captured and sent to support organizations to resolve problems.
Responsibilities include the following:
Gathering and documentation of monitoring requirements
Delivery of new monitors in support of business unit requirements
Supporting and maintaining existing infrastructure
Integration of new products with existing infrastructure
Assisting operations staff as needed
Analysis and documentation
You will be responsible to provide 24×7 support on a rotation basis

Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
6 years experience in information technology in a corporate environment
4 years in distributed platform support
4 years experience using Tivoli, Topaz and/or Wily
Candidate must be technically familiar with administration of Unix and Windows Servers, and proficient with perl and shell scripting
Very strong experience creating and managing Tivoli scripts
Experience supporting BSM, Splunk and/or Dynatrace scripts
Experience with Wily (or other production analytics tools) preferred
Experience creating monitoring handbooks/plans

Education and Experience-
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in Windows & Unix systems administration
General working knowledge and practical experience with: Tivoli Framework & Topaz/BAC/BPM
General working knowledge of Wily is a plus
Preferred Skills & Experience – please include specifics
Must have full life-cycle experience in large, global multi-tiered systems, preferably in the financial industry and with core cash management systems
Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication / presentation skills
Strong technical documentation skills
Knowledge of Tivoli & Topaz monitoring tools
Demonstrates initiative and is a self starter
