End monopoly of Higher Castes in politics- Zaheeruddin Ali Khan

An All Party Round Table Conference was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Mushtaq Malik, President of Muslim Shibban and Chairman of Muslim JAC at RR Function Hall, Sayeedabad. Mr. Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan, Mr. Srinivas Goud, Mr. Ch. Ramaiah, Mr. B. Naik, Mr. Khalid Rasool Khan, Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef, Mr. Krishna Yadav, Mr. Gouri Shanker and others addressed the Conference.

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that the monopoly of 4% of Reddys in A.P. Assembly is the proof that injustices in Telangana Area are being continued against the weaker section. Muslims, SCs, STs and BCs are not made candidates in elections except from the reserved constituencies whereas they constitute 89.3% of Telangana population.

He further said that there are complaints of harassment if there is a campaign against the Reddy candidates by the weaker section. He recalled that during 2004 elections SC, ST, BC and Minorities had dislodged TDP unitedly, in the same manner, they should unite together for 2014 elections in order to end the monopoly of Reddy and Kamma communities. He blamed the leaderships of SCs, STs, BCs and Muslims for exploiting them. He declared to support for any steps taken for the development of weaker sections.

Mr. Srinivas Goud, President of Telangana NGOs Association told that so long as protest strategies are not evolved by the weaker sections, their problems will not be resolved.

Mr. Ch. Ramaiah stressed the need for the Muslim community to get education. Mr. Mushtaq Malik, in his presidential address told that RSS, Bajrangdal, VHP are a great danger for the country. They are bent upon disrupting 2004 elections. The Suffron colour organization are dreaming to come to power in the next election for which a suitable strategy has to be evolved. Mr. B. Naik, President of Lambada Porata Samiti told that a non-political front would be formed and a large scale public meeting would be arranged in old city to bring together all the Muslims, Christians and weaker section which will prove to be a harbinger of a new political revolution in Telangana State.
